Government research funding plays such an important role in innovation and the progress it provides.
Governments must be encouraged to look to the future by supporting innovators with their research mainly through providing funding grants.
The governments then must follow through by supporting that innovation to be implemented into the marketplace, especially when that innovation will improve on such things as global greenhouse gas emissions for energy.
